Plantation shutters, premium wood shutters, composite shutters, and all blind products including wood, faux wood, and aluminum blinds.
Routine Cleaning
- Dust regularly with a soft cloth, feather duster, or brush attachment on vacuum
- Wipe louvers/slats with the grain of the material using a microfiber cloth
- For composite and painted finishes, use a slightly damp cotton cloth if needed
- Tilt louvers fully open and closed during cleaning to reach all surfaces
Spot Cleaning
- Use a damp cloth with mild soap and water for stubborn spots
- Wipe in the direction of the louver grain
- Dry immediately with a clean, soft cloth to prevent water spots
- For blinds, clean individual slats gently to avoid bending
Do NOT
- Immerse in water or use excessive moisture
- Use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or ammonia-based cleaners
- Use furniture polish or wax (may cause buildup)
- Bend or flex louvers/slats excessively during cleaning
- Use steam cleaners on wood or composite materials
Note: Real wood products may experience natural color changes over time due to light exposure. This is normal and does not affect functionality.

Routine Cleaning
- Use a soft brush or feather duster to remove dust

- Work from top to bottom in gentle, even strokes

Spot Cleaning
- Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth
- For stubborn spots, use a lightly dampened cloth with lukewarm water
- Blot gently – do not rub or scrub the fabric
- Allow to air dry fully in the lowered position
Do NOT
- Use excessive water or fully saturate the fabric
- Use harsh chemicals, bleach, or solvent-based cleaners
- Rub or scrub aggressively (may damage cell structure)
- Machine wash or dry clean
- Retract shade while damp
Note: Honeycomb cells can trap dust particles. Regular light dusting prevents buildup and maintains the shade's insulating properties.

Steaming Guidelines
- Polyester and synthetic blends: May be lightly steamed to remove wrinkles
- Silk, linen, and cotton: Do NOT use steam – may cause water marks or shrinkage
- Hold steamer 2-3 inches away from fabric
- Work in gentle, downward strokes
Do NOT
- Machine wash or submerge in water
- Use steam on natural fibers (silk, linen, cotton)
- Use harsh chemicals or bleach
- Iron directly on the fabric face
- Pull or tug on folds when cleaning
Note: Professional cleaning is recommended for heavily soiled Roman shades or delicate natural fiber fabrics.

- For steamable fabrics, hold steamer 1-2 inches away
- Use vertical strokes from top to bottom

Note: Check your fabric collection before attempting to steam. Using steam on non-approved fabrics may void the manufacturer warranty.
Sheer horizontal shading with vanes suspended between two layers of soft fabric. Provides light control similar to blinds with the softness of shades.
Routine Cleaning
- Use light dusting with a feather duster only
- Work gently from top to bottom
- Close vanes during dusting to protect the sheer fabric
- Clean regularly to prevent dust buildup
Spot Cleaning
- Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth
- Avoid water or liquid cleaners on sheer fabric
- For stubborn spots, consult a professional cleaner
Wrinkle Removal
- Use a handheld steamer to gently remove wrinkles
- Hold steamer at least 2 inches from fabric
- Work in gentle, horizontal strokes along the vanes
- Allow to cool and dry before operating
Do NOT
- Vacuum (may damage delicate sheer fabric and vanes)
- Use water, soap, or liquid cleaners
- Touch or press on the sheer fabric panels
- Use excessive heat or direct steam contact
- Pull on vanes or sheer layers
Note: The sheer fabric layers are delicate. Handle with care and avoid direct contact during cleaning.

Machine Washing Instructions
- Remove fabric panels from the headrail
- Place panels in a mesh laundry bag (essential for protection)
- Machine wash on COLD water, GENTLE/DELICATE cycle
- Do NOT use bleach or fabric softener
- Do NOT machine dry – hang panels to air dry
- Rehang while slightly damp for best results
- To remove wrinkles: Steam on nylon setting (200-220°F / 93-104°C)
Do NOT
- Machine dry (heat will damage fabric)
- Use hot water or warm wash cycles
- Use bleach, fabric softener, or harsh detergents
- Iron directly (use steamer instead)
- Wash without a mesh bag (may cause tangling)
